Surviving Pregnancy-With Daxton

Okay, so when Daxton was about 6 months old, I kept telling my friends "I think he's going to be trouble." So, it turns out I was right. He is trouble! Yes, I love the child, but he and Josh are about as opposite as can be. Josh was so mellow and easy going (still is, thankfully) but Dax is...well....not so. For example, today we went out for pizza as a family, and he was getting real upset that he didn't have anything to play with. So we're trying to make a game of things, showing him how to blow air out of the straw and such, but it just wasn't enough for the little tike. We had to keep moving things out of his grasp as he's struggling to get out of his high chair, then he sees his chance as I set my water glass down, he knocks the whole thing over into my lap and looks at me like "ha, ha, got ya mom." He gets into everything, throws tantrums when I take things away (kicking and screaming, literally) and got into the full tub with clothes on. Maybe it's not as bad as it sounds, but let's just say this next baby is going to get beat on.

Well, enough about that. I am currently 37 weeks pregnant. The doc said he could induce me on the 26th of this month, if I want, so I'll probably do that. Lots have asked me if I'm going to get the epideral this time, and when I lay in bed thinking about the doctor pulling and pushing on my you know what with no meds, I think I'll take that epideral! I figure I'll enjoy it more anyway. I've been having tons of contractions so things are progressing.

We are in our new home in Kaysville, and we're loving it. Josh has a new best friend Madelyn, who he plays with daily. Our neighbors are incredibly nice, I think the whole ward has come to welcome us-which is great, but makes it harder to soon have to leave. I have been working on painting and things. Today I stained the cupboards in the kitchen, and it looks a lot better.

The boys had fun trick-or-treating, and we enjoyed dressing up for my annual family Halloween party. We were all x-men people, except Dax who was Super-Baby. I was a pregnant storm-who knew that she and professor X had a thing going?

After I paint the kitchen, I will focus on getting the stuff together for the baby. So far, nothing is together, but I did buy some newborn diapers! I need to buy all that fun nursing stuff. I just can't wait for my nipples to feel like they're being chewed off again!

I hope you are all doing well, keep me posted and I'll try to do the same!

Love you all!
